Hannukah Party

We had a great Hannukah party. It was extra fun to have FASTY with us. They were seriously tough judges. The 8th graders won the overall prize for a great rap and making an extremely artistic hannukiah.

Here is the video of the eighth grade rap

8th Graders

The ninth graders wrote a really good rap, pointing out the seasonal annoyance of being wished “Merry Hannukah.” Check out the percussion!

9th graders

My appologies to the tenth graders, who not only made a wonderful hannukiah, but also did a great rap. My phone was so amazed by their brilliance, it malfunctioned.

Cookout & Yom Hoshoah reading

Last Sunday we took our barbecue grill for a test drive in our all grade cookout on a beautiful sunny day. Thank you teens and parents for a great year that will be wrapped up with our weekend Washington DC trip in a few weeks.

We thank everyone who joined us to read names at Eno Hall during Yom Hashoah. Reading names and ages of entire families who perished in the holocaust gave many of us a different perspective in connecting and participating in the memory of the holocaust. See the pictures that we posted under “pics this year’.
